Owner/Lead Inspector - Sebastian Kumpulainen

Sebastian grew up working on and around properties with his dad, who was a contractor, real estate agent, and real estate appraiser, and is now a home inspector. From a young age he experienced first-hand and learned many aspects of home building and the real estate industry.

After graduating with a Bachelors in Accounting, he worked his way up from a wiring technician to position of system engineer in a high-end Smart Home/Home Automation Company, which designed and installed exclusive and complex home automation systems for high net-worth individuals in their multi-million dollar properties.

Sebastian switched to the Home Inspection field in 2020 to find a career that would align more with his aptitude, being able to work one-on-one with people to help them. In this case, it is helping with an aspect of home-ownership that most (including Sebastian) do not particularly enjoy. Home Insurance.

Sebastian came to realize that he enjoyed being able to assist and inform homeowners with their insurance inspection needs, and that there was a shortage of inspectors that are well experienced and focused solely on insurance inspections, which is a highly regulated and specialized field.

Upon realizing this, Sebastian has made it his mission to provide the concierge-level service that he learned working in multi-million dollar homes to everyone with insurance inspection needs, and at a fair, competitive price, something that other home inspectors do not provide.
